WORK COMPLETED
I’m currently querying my book titled “Wielder Awakened”. It follows the story of a 17-year-old girl named Amy who, after a tragic accident, finds out she is a Fire Wielder, a person with Greek God blood created by Prometheus when he created people from clay by stealing from the Gods. She must now go to the Amelia Academy, a school for newly awakened wielders, and learn to navigate this new world she is a part of. It won’t be easy, especially when she discovers the existence of Dark Wielders who were turned by the goddess of ruin. They have evil plans for her, and she must connect to her element of fire and stop those plans before it’s too late.
WORKS IN PROGRESS
"Thief's Fire"
Evelyn is a 17-year-old thief. She’s not proud of it but she’ll do anything to get her twin brother out of the trouble he’s gotten himself into. When the heist to steal four jewels doesn’t go right when she touches one, she finds herself with a strange symbol on her hand and the power to create fire. Going back to the man she stole the jewels from, she learns that the other jewels contain the elements of air, water, and earth. By touching the jewel, the element of fire transferred into Evelyn. A normal human can’t host the elements, though, and the element will kill her unless she finds the only person that has the element of spirit, a descendant of the man who originally created the jewels. Now Evelyn is in a race against time to find the descendant before the element of fire kills her or the woman who paid her to steal the jewels finds her.
"A Siren's Song"
Rayna is in hiding and on the run. As a rare siren/witch hybrid, she watched 10 years ago her siren father kill her mother with his voice of death. Now, 17-years-old, she’s hiding out in the city, trying to stay low and avoid using her song at all costs. An accidental use of her siren voice to save a boy from a vampire attack draws the attention of the boy’s supernatural hunting brother. Instead of killing her, though, he decides to help her stop running and find a way to take on her father so she can finally be free.
